There will be two Sections in the Exhibition, General and Natural History, which will be selected
in two separate sections.
A maximum of eight 2" x 2" (50mm x50mm) slides, 4 in each section, may be entered.
Slides, or any significantly similar slides, accepted at any previous Dingwall National
Exhibition, are not eligible.
The sender's name, address and title as on the Entry Form should appear on each slide.
Glass mounted slides are preferred but ready mounts are acceptable.
The entry fee is £5.50 for 1 section or £8.50 for 2 sections which includes return postage.
Cheques or Postal orders should be made payable to 'Dingwall Camera Club'.
Every possible care will be taken with the entries but the organisers cannot accept liability for
loss or damage to work submitted.
Packing should be adequate for the safe return - the use of adhesive tape is not advised.
All entrants will receive a copy of the Exhibition Catalogue.
The Selectors will use a silent electronic voting machine.
All entrants should indicate the town/club they wish to be associated with in the Catalogue.
The right to reproduce accepted slides is assumed unless written refusal is received
by the Exhibition Committee. Winning slides may be displayed on Dingwall Camera Club
web site. Copyright remains with the photographer.
Natural History photography depicts untamed animals and uncultivated plants in their natural
habitat, geology, and phenomena not produced by Man. The accurate record of the subjects and natural
enviroment is the prime factor. Evidence of Man, his manipulation, or his enviroment in any part of the
picture is undesirable and should be avoided.
The Selectors will be asked to mark down any record Natural History slides entered in the General section.
